ABOUT THE RANCH
The Cricket Ranch was built in 1933 and was originally a working chicken farm called the Holly Hatchery. In the 1950s the the ranch was converted into a residence as The Valley transitioned from an agricultural center into a suburb of Los Angeles. We love the vintage heritage of the home with it’s well worn wooden floors and plaster walls. The chickens are long gone but have been replaced by friendly crickets who sing to us each evening.
We rent on an hourly basis for small photo assignments or larger video productions. Contact info is at the bottom of this page. Let’s shoot!

The space was beautifully decorated and there was so many spaces to use. In a span of four hours we were not able to use all of the spaces. This place is truly a gem. On top of that, The hosts were amazing and accommodating 10/10 would recommend

This is a spectacular space for a photoshoot! Numerous options/settings to choose from, and all are nicely detailed with furnishings, art, interesting display objects and such. The host is very friendly and accommodating. I could not have asked for more. I highly recommend this property for photoshoots. I will definitely be back to use again.

A beautiful location that needs to be seen to be believed! Incredibly photogenic and oozing with character. There’s tons of great looks and the location is staffed by a helpful host who wants to empower you to create great content. Would absolutely recommend and book again!

Such a great experience here! Matt was a wonderful host and was the perfect mixture of hands off while accommodating and so helpful. The space is so good, there are many areas all over the property and I will definitely have to get back to utilize more of the space.

Very grateful to Matt, Brissa, and Shelly the location manager who went above and beyond to accommodate and made the shoot possible. The place is truly unique and has a variety of sets like no others. There are also new additions to the space that are not displayed in the photos yet, which all turned out to be great.
